This Saturday night at the Palms Casino and Resort in Las Vegas, Nevada, WBA featherweight champion Yuriorkis Gamboa meets IBF titlist Orlando Salido in a unification contest. On the line for Gamboa is a potential 2011 clash with Puerto Rico?s Juan Manuel Lopez and the spotlight will be shining on him heavily.
Throughout his career Gamboa has dazzled with his elusive footwork, blazing speed and penchant for the kill. Some feel that the 28-year old has the makings of a superstar while others see too many flaws in his attack to become true believers. It?s up to Gamboa to prove who is right.
I recently reached out to some boxing insiders to get everyone?s take on Gamboa and their impressions of the Cuban star. Continue on to the slideshow below for a picture by picture look at what everyone had to say about Yuriorkis Gamboa?
