Erik ?Terrible? Morales foresees a hard test against Scotland?s Willie Limond as he continues on his quest for an opportunity at a fourth world title. Morales and Limond collide Saturday in a pay-per-view showdown for the WBC Continental super lightweight belt in the famous Monumental Plaza de Toros in Mexico City as the stellar attraction of the huge Mexican Bicentenniel Celebration billed as ?Gala Boxistica del Bicentenario.?
With a win, ?Terrible? will be a step closer to an opportunity to face countryman Juan Manuel M?rquez, the WBA & WBO lightweight world champion.
Morales has carried out a strong training camp and will be in perfect condition with an eye to giving his fans a memorable experience. Plans are to carry out another fight in Tijuana or another city in December at 135 pounds.
?If M?rquez wins his fight in November against Michel Katsidis and I leave victorious on Saturday, we would be able to fight,? said Morales. ?Already there were talks with people of Golden Boy Promotions to carry out the fight. I consider to M?rquez as the best Mexican fighter that Mexico has at the moment.?
