Former heavyweight champion of the world Shannon Briggs sat down with 8CountNews this evening and talked about his big title shot against Vitali Klitschko. This fight is scheduled for October 16th, in Hamburg, Germany. Briggs has strung together three first round knockouts, and as a result he has earned this shot. Shannon lives with asthma and has taken a leading roll as a national spokesman for the disease. What he’s accomplished in his life as a man who has to live with this disease is simply amazing. On October 16th he will step back into the ring and he will face a world champion. His intention is to knockout Vitali Klitschko and to bring the title back to Brooklyn, back to the United States. Briggs is currently 240 lbs, and is in the best shape of his life.
