Pacman himself said in an interview he would want to concentrate on being a lawmaker and would distance himself from Philippines movies. He also still has contractual obligations to fulfill as endorser, actor and TV host.
Like previous talks about movies with Sylvester Stallone and Steven Seagal, this one too, might just go unmaterialized. The closest ever that the Pacman has come to Hollywood is his endorsement for Nike.
In October 2009, Nike unveiled its billboard featuring the seven-division world champion wearing its AW77 hood sweatshirt, making Manny Pacquiao the first Filipino athlete to be featured in a major billboard in Los Angeles.
That was considered a big statement for the Pacman and for his marketability in Hollywood.
