Like it or not, this fight is happening on November 13th, 2010 in Dallas, Texas. Much has led up to this fight, and much had to happen for Margarito to get this gift from the boxing God’s. As most know, Tony Margarito got caught trying to load up his gloves. The boxing world turned it’s back on him until the state of Texas granted him his license to fight in Dallas against the icon Manny Pacquiao.
Some writers in boxing do not want this fight to happen. Honestly? I am not in favor of Margarito fighting again, but since he is legally allowed to, I support Pacquiao’s decision. Manny has been the target of some recent attacks by a few scribes for accepting Margarito in the first place, but does he deserve it?
The bottom line is, this fight is done. It’s happening, and camps have started in both corners. The fight may prove to be interesting within the first few rounds. Tony likes to come forward, and he loves to throw a lot of punches. Pacquiao has speed and power, and he rarely goes backwards himself. This combination will provide action for however long it lasts.
