MANILA, Philippines ? The Singapore Government has invited 7-division world champion and Sarangani Province Rep. Manny Pacquiao for a goodwill visit this month.
Pacquiao?s visit is scheduled on August 20 to 22.
The goodwill visit would be Pacquiao?s first trip to the Southeast Asian city-state.
According to the Singapore Tourism Board, Pacquiao is slated to meet with Singaporean youth pugilists as well as members of the Singapore Boxing Federation.
The world-renowned Filipino boxer will also be toured around Singapore?s latest attractions such as Universal Studios Singapore, Marina Bay Sands and the Singapore Flyer. He will also be joining a Hippo Bus Tour.
Meanwhile, a Philippine university has invited the boxer-turned-congressman to grace an anniversary event on August 26.
Reports said that Pacquiao will attend the 76th founding anniversary of the Silliman University Law Alumni Association at the Moot Court, Villareal Hall of Silliman University in Dumaguete City, Negros Oriental.
