?We are ready to celebrate the Mexican Bicentennial with a great event,? stated promoter Jos? Luis Villuendas. ?We want the people to leave happy and see good boxing. It sounds easy, but it?s not to bring together various promoters to present nine world titles. All this is because of the support of the World Boxing Council.?
?The WBC is very proud to participate in and to support this event to celebrate the Bicentennial of our country,? said the WBC?s Mauricio Sulaim?n. ?Mexico is a unique country and boxing is its sport, the one that has given it the most world champions.?
Among those at the press conference were Erik Morales, Ana Mar?a Torres, Daniel ?Tremendo? Estrada, Alberto ?Kichis? Garza, Rey S?nchez, Ram?n ?Ni?o de Oro? Ayala and Carlos Z?rate Jr.
