World Twitter: Before heading to St. Louis, Floyd Mayweather gets iced out with Gucci, Louis Vuitton

There were millions of people disappointed when Floyd Mayweather?s proposed November 13th bout with Manny Pacquiao officially fell apart but the Las Vegas resident certainly wasn?t one of them. In recent weeks fighting has seemed to be the last thing on the mind of the 33-year old pugilist as he has been busy traveling to lavish vacation spots, hanging with friends and family, and even rekindling his friendship with Don King while near the promoter?s confines down in South Florida.

Speculation amongst many is running wild with the sight of the two multi-millionaires getting chummy with one another and people can?t help but wonder if Floyd will enlist the services of the legendary promoter on a professional level for his future fights. Recently it was revealed that King has invited Mayweather to St. Louis to be a ringside guest for this weekend?s HBO card headlined by Jr. Welterweight champion Devon Alexander?s bout against Andriy Kotelnik, further adding suspense to the future of the dynamic duo.

So what is a superstar to do just days before leaving for another world class boxing event? In Mayweather?s case it seemed to be pretty simple as Floyd updated his 635,909 followers on the social networking site Twitter that he had gotten a custom made Gucci wallet with his named ?iced out? on the product. A few days later Mayweather could be seen surrounded by bags of Louis Vuitton merchandise, stating ?Just finish shopping?anybody wana come help me out with these bags??

With no fights lined up on the horizon and with the boxing world facing the very real possibility that it could be another nine months, if ever, before Mayweather returns to the ring, Floyd still has a way of generating interest because of his charismatic lifestyle. With boxing seemingly not on his mind at the moment Floyd is obviously enjoying himself and living life to the fullest. Let?s just hope that a change of heart happens sometime down the road so that we can see him back in the ring.

Amir Khan spending time on the West Coast

During this past weekend?s Juan Manuel Marquez-Juan Diaz rematch at the Mandalay Bay one of the most recognizable faces on the Las Vegas scene was WBA Jr. Welterweight champion Amir Khan. The 23-year old could be found interacting with his fans, speaking with the media, and even dropping $5,500 on a designer jacket. With Marquez having defeated Diaz yet again Khan now seems lined up for a December 11th clash with the Mexico City fighter and the contest figures to be a financial blockbuster.

After his time in Las Vegas Khan apparently made the trek to nearby Southern California, where he could be found clubbing with Paris Hilton and Flo Rida at Drai?s in Hollywood, shopping at the Beverly Mall, and in the studio doing interviews for GMTV.

Just hours ago Khan tweeted to his Twitter faithful that he is making his way to Venice Beach to begin shooting for a new music video but didn?t mention the specifics of the shoot?
