Floyd Mayweather is a relative newcomer to social network sites. But he has wasted no time in showing the world that no matter how many victories you amass, or money you make, the hardest thing to come by is even single ounce of class.
Let?s get one thing straight. I?m a huge fan of Floyd Mayweather the fighter. Technically he has no equal. The personality less so. Of course the brash exterior of his character ?Money? Mayweather is one he uses to generate interest in fights. No matter how much he is hated, he can bring in money. One thing his detractors cannot take away is the fact that there have been fewer stars in the sport who can make as much money in a single fight as Pretty Boy Floyd.
More recently though his behavior has gone against all logical measures of class and perhaps logic.
The great writer John Updike once said,
?Fame is a mask that eats into the face.?
Well maybe the mask of Money Mayweather has finally seeped into the head of the real Floyd Mayweather Jr.,? Maybe he just cannot separate the two.
As a writer you have to keep up to date with a lot of things. Be subscribed to the right Facebook and Twitter feeds etc?
The last few weeks I have logged on and been forced to look at Floyd and his life in photo form. Boy does Money Mayweather/Pretty Boy/Pretty Boy Floyd (I?ve lost track) enjoy his life.
But on the whole the photos that Floyd Mayweather has posted on Facebook are a perfect example of how to kill time needlessly while busy ducking a fight that could make him more money than even ?Money? can dream of.
Cooling off at the pool.
Really??
Everybody needs a diamond encrusted iPod ey?
Best one yet. For a man who carries around rolls of cash, why would you need a wallet?
