It appears that, other than Floyd Mayweather Jr’s level of courage, Manny Pacquiao’s defamation lawsuit is potentially preventing this century’s best fight from happening. Sources close to both sides have commented on the lawsuit over the last few days as the finished contract sits on Mayweather Jr’s desk waiting for his signature. According to FightHype.com, an unnamed source close to Floyd Mayweather Jr says that the lawsuit is an issue with Floyd Jr. “How’s he talking about fighting when the lawsuit’s still out there?” So, now it comes down to whether or not Manny wants to drop the lawsuit.
