Exclusive video from Team Pacquiao, HOLLYWOOD, California – Action Star and Congressman-elect says he enjoys very much his schooling at the Development Academy of the Philippines, a center for governance education and a catalyst for change playing the role of “think tank” of government.
Pacquiao says “it’s important to study so that we will know and in order to add more knowledge to what we already know”, as per translation.
Pacquiao started attending on June 14 for a 10-day certificate course in Legislation and Governance in Ortigas Center in Pasig City.
Pacquiao, according to ABS-CBN news, studies to enhance his knowledge of good public governance to prepare for his congressional duties.
Dr. Gloria Mercado, Dean-Graduate School of Public and Development Management of the said academy, says they were “surprised by the kind of questions he (Pacquiao) was asking; Meaning to say, even before he has already read,” as translated.
Team Pacquiao members also came along with Pacquiao for th lecture. They say the whole group has fun and enjoys good “synergy” as Atty. Jeng Gacal, Pacquiao’s lawyer, intimates.
