Thou shalt keep Pacquiao and Foreman in Hollywood movies

So we begin with the sentiments of two boxing superstars: Manny Pacquiao and Yuri Foreman. They do humble things in a big way, that is to entertain.

And while some celebrities draw crowd about the long road back from their experiences of growing up in their respective cultural spheres, these two great men do not sugarcoat their toughest lifeplay of being fighters, entertainers, and men of faith. To them, it’s about more than just their innate ability to win the hearts of their true fans and quasi-fans alike.

The same great men are bringing honor to their respecctive countries: Pacquiao for Philippines and Foreman for Israel.

“Hollywood filmmakers are not far from them,” says Marc Rovic, head of Western Talent Agency. “They both have great potential for Hollywood films.”

Around our planet, they have become magnets of fans in their own rights.

Hollywood film by far might bring another irony for Pacquiao. A compatible Hollywood actor star that matches his profile would be Chuck Noris, the action partner of Pacquiao’s idol, Bruce Lee. Though Noris is alot older and matured than Pacquiao in action film, they both can become a perfect blend. And not a bad match for revival of Bruce Lee’s spirit in martial arts transcending into mixed boxing in the hands of Pacquiao, at least in the American film industry. Noris won’t have to be a fighting machine against Pacquiao but in a different light of script a unique story can be made.

For Foreman, he has inherent connections and likability than Pacquiao being an American Jew. Take it, preferential treatment is still alive and all – whatever one calls it.His oppotunities to Hollywood stardom is unlimited. No question about his ability to assimilate into the culture of filming in the mainstream America.

Unlike Foreman’s potential winning offers from movie producers granting that the Hollywood networks are mostly ran by Jewish, Pacquiao’s formidabilty to sell himself into the American market of actors is one of a great challenge. His idol, Bruce Lee, had his share of prejudicial craft as a movie star in the beginning.

But, a tandem with Noris, whose success of his TV series , can be an irresistible attraction for movie goers irrespective age brackets. He is an Executive Producer and lead actor of “Walker, Texas Ranger”. In that production, he stars as Capt. Ranger Cordell Walker and several movies. He is being loved by real American movie-breakers, so to speak.

One may criticize Pacquiao’s unwarranted entry into the filming industry. His film, ‘Anak ng Kumander’ (Son of the Commander) produced and marketed in the Philippines, fails to capture considerable sales. But for a neophyte, the said film is such a good start.

Whether one likes him to walk into Hollywood film while engaging his congressional politics in the Philippines, Pacquiao is getting bigger considerably and maybe much bigger inevitably that what most Filipinos think of him.

Steven Seagal, a master of several Japanese martial arts and a popular action movie hero, has the heart of Pacquiao. In act, he once visited the Filipino actor at his residence in Hancock Park of Los Angeles.

Another,Mark Walberg, is an American actor, television personality and game show host, who has become his close friend.

Yes, Jean Claude Van Damme, a Belgian martial artist and actor, best known for his martial arts action movies, had a courtesy visit of him at the Wild Card gym while he was on training for his fight against Joshua Clottey of Ghana at the Dallas Cowboy Stadium in Texas.

And many more!

But the greatest of all potential matches for a Hollywood film with Pacquaio who could bring out his brilliance even more is the Texas Ranger, Chuck Noris.

And what more can moviegoers expect?

What about a Foreman-Pacquiao movie? Or, may be you want a real one?
