Las Vegas is one of the most sought after vacation spots for a multitude of reasons. Lavish hotels, fine dining, constant gambling, various forms of entertainment and a wild nightlife all go into make the city a practical ?adult playground? and on any given day the volume of tourists reflect that.
Anyone in town looking for a guide on the ins and outs of the city would do well by picking up a copy of Where magazine. Focusing on Entertainment, shopping, museums, attractions and much more the publication is a go-to source for everything pertaining to the unique city.
It is only fitting that in the most recent edition of Where none other than Floyd Mayweather Jr. can be found stopping by and sharing his tips on fashion and his extravagant lifestyle. With no major sports team to call their own, The Grand Rapids native serves as somewhat of an identity for the city and his every move is often charted.
Anyone who takes a look at Floyd can tell his obvious affection towards all things expensive, from his jewelry, dapper attire, and sleek white Ferrari. When talking about his personal wardrobe Floyd was straight and to the point and noted that every man must have three key pieces in his wardrobe; one nice suit, a stylish watch and fabulous footwear.
?It?s all about the shoes,? Mayweather continued. ?If you start with those three, you can?t go wrong.?
Anyone visiting Las Vegas in the near future can find a copy of Where magazine at the nearby malls, outlets, and all throughout the Vegas strip. Also feel free to visit www.WhereTraveler.com
Dawson getting ready for August date
At any time now light heavyweight star Chad Dawson could be making his way to Las Vegas to begin training for an August appearance in the ring. The 27 year-old could be found in the media room of the MGM Grand following Floyd Mayweather?s impressive routing of Shane Mosley and seemed somewhat uncertain yet undeniably optimistic about his own future.
?We don?t have anyone lined up but we do a have a date, August 14th, and we have been looking at negotiations with Jean Pascal,? he pointed out. ?We don?t know yet but I am looking for whoever. I reached out to Bernard [Hopkins] with no response and I heard Joe Calzaghe is coming out of retirement so I have been looking at that.?
There have been rumors going around that Dawson may be considering a move back down to the Super Middleweight division. It would be a change that could be extremely beneficial given all of the talent lurking around at 168 pounds and Dawson confirmed that he has been openly interested in the recent Super Six tournament and the upcoming June 19th Andre Ward-Allan Green fight in particular.
?Very interesting tournament,? Dawson stated. ?Who stands out to me is Ward. I?m really looking forward to his fight with Allan Green. I think Ward should pick him apart. I think Ward?s hand speed, just his agility, and everything else will be too much for him.?
In closing Dawson stated how inspirational Mayweather?s performance was and seems eager to showcase his own skills in such fashion in the future.
?Floyd?s performance was excellent. I think he proved a lot of people wrong tonight. A lot of people were going against Floyd but after the second round he settled down and he came out and stuck to his guns. He out boxed him, outclassed him, and picked him apart. I always get motivated by watching Floyd Mayweather fight. I look at my style as being similar to his style because he?s a pure boxer. He doesn?t go in there just looking for a knockout. He always keeps me on my toes.?
