Thereafter, he gets a new coach, Freddie Roach, a Bostonian street fighter who trains Manny Pacquiao and makes him of what he is today: a Headline Celebrity and a Congressman-elect of the Philippines. Through Roach, Khan was chosen to be the sparring partner of Pacquiao. And ring violence at the Wild Card Gym has not developed both guys animosity despite getting hit hard by each other. Instead, they develop fraternal bond.
Based on the what this writer saw during the last sparring sessions between the two as Pacquiao prepared for his fight against Clottey, Khan must be too quick, too strong and too intelligent for Paulie Malinaggi.
