Arum, according to The Examiner?s Michael Marley, made the comment as Arum was about to call it a day, actually way past midnight Saturday in Sarangani.
A lot of people say the fight between the two pound-for-pound champions should happen while there are those who say it may never take place, and that includes Floyd Mayweather Jr.
Arum is confident that it will happen sometime in November. But there?s always a Plan B just in case everything falls off once again.
Antonio Margarito, who came off a forced layoff to beat Roberto Garcia in Mexico, and Arum told Marley, who had just discovered the Filipino delicacy ?balut,? that the former welterweight champion is right there waiting.
?He (Margarito) did not go in there with a pushover this time and he won. I would give him another fight, a tune up fight and then he can fight Manny if that?s the way we have to go. I think he needs one more bout to shake off the ring rust. We had 22,000 people in there so it was great,? Arum was quoted as saying.

Pacquiao was probably out of his mansion by the time the fight telecast started, just the way he had missed Mayweather?s unanimous decision against Shane Mosley last week.
