MANILA, Philippines — Actress and television show host Kris Aquino has made peace with Sarangani Congressman-elect Manny Pacquiao following their differences during the election campaign.
In her Twitter account, Aquino had posted a short comment criticizing a ?Pinoy sports icon? who had indirectly criticized her brother, Sen. Benigno ?Noynoy? Aquino III for his lack of experience and achievements as a politician.
Now that the elections are over and her brother is way ahead in the presidential race, Aquino has set aside their differences and is friends again with Pacquiao and his wife, Jinkee.
?Kami nga ni Jinkee Pacquiao, OK na OK na ulit eh. Sinabi ko talaga sa kaniya, ?Mare nagtampo ako sa asawa mo?. Pero OK na ngayon, love-love-love,? Aquino said during Tuesday?s episode of Showbiz News Ngayon (SNN).
Before the elections, Pacquiao appeared in a TV ad for his presidential bet Sen. Manuel “Manny” Villar, Jr. He said in the ad in an apparent reference to Noynoy: “Merong iba diyan, laban nang laban sa salita pero wala pa namang nagawa.”
This made Aquino hit back through her Twitter account (twitter.com/iamkrisaquino): ?In politics, Noy has won 3 straight terms sa Congress and won almost 15 million votes sa senatorial [race] in 2007. How sad na he didn’t think na in politics, knockout nga siya.?
Aquino was referring to Pacquiao?s first attempt in politics against Darlene Custodio-Antonino in South Cotabato in 2007.

Aquino also clarified that she is cool with Sarah Geronimo, who endorsed Sen. Loren Legarda, the running mate of Villar.
In her reaction to a Twitter question aired on SNN, she said Geronimo never criticized Noynoy or any member of the Aquino family.
?Naunawaan ko kung anong desisyon nila. For as long as hindi mo inatake maliciously ang kapatid ko or any member of our family, wala sa akin ‘yon,? said Aquino.
She even said that she looks forward to possibly working with Gerenimo in the future.
?I really pray that one day I can work with her,? said Aquino.
