TAGUIG CITY, Philippines – In a much anticipated Featherweight battle, Manny ?The Destroyer? Pacquiao took on Fahsan 3K Battery in a scheduled twelve round fight.
Pacquiao, who fought to a draw in May against Juan Manuel Marquez in Las Vegas, was back home and fighting before a capacity crowd at The Fort in Taguig City.
Fahsan promised a knock-out against Pacquiao, and he got it! Unfortunately, he was on the receiving end of it. Fahsan was in excellent condition, and was able to land several right-hands on Pacquiao. But as soon as his confidence grew, Pacquiao quickly showed the Thai Fighter why he is considered the best Featherweight on the planet.
In round two, Pacquaio surprised Fahsan with a counter overhand left that dropped the former Thai Kickboxing champ. Pacquiao would send Fahsan back to the canvas in the final seconds of round three.
In the fourth round Manny Pacquiao chased Fahsan, who was now on his bicycle (keeping away from Manny?s assault). As Fahsan leaned forward in an attempt to grab Pacquiao, he was hit with a vicious left uppercut directly on the chin. Referee Ferdinand Estrella waved an end to the contest immediately after Fahsan hit the canvas.
Manny Pacquiao destroys Fahsan 3K Battery in 4, and will now switch directions and head towards the U.S., for a scheduled rematch against Juan Manuel Marquez on February 26 of 2005.
