Buenos Dias Celestino, how are you doing how has your recent move to Vegas been treating you?
CC- The move has been great, I love it out here. The people out here treat me great, very nice people out here.
When I saw you in the gym about 2 weeks ago with Jeff Mayweather, I noticed right away the great chemistry that you 2 have. I saw you laughing and joking with one another as well as a little concert from you as you were singing. Some people whistle while they work and you seem to sing while you work. Jeff doesn’t like your singing though, does he?
CC- [Laughing] Yes, I am always singing. I love to sing. Jeff and I are always joking around with one another. Jeff jokes with me that he doesn’t like me singing but I am sure that he really likes my singing. You are right, we have great chemistry together. Jeff is a great guy.
What are some of the things that Jeff has you working on right now?
CC- The jab, the footwork, the rythym. We are working on everything. Jeff trains for one to have an all around game. I really love working with him, great trainer.
Daud Yordan is your next opponent coming up next month on April 10. Yordan is a very dangerous fighter, I’m sure that you have seen him fight before, What would you say is your biggest strength when going up against the undefeated Yordan?
CC- My biggest strength? I feel that I have alot of strengths and you will have to see this fight to see what I am talking about. I will be the first to beat Yordan.
If you are the first to defeat Yordan, what big fish in the pond do you have your sights on next?
CC- All the Champions. If you have a belt, then you are on my hit list.
It seems that Arum is planning on putting together a big puzzle with Lopez and Gamboa as the main pieces in this puzzle. Arum has mentioned you as a possible opponent for Gamboa, do you feel that he means it though? I mean I view you as a match up nightmare for either fighter, with that being said, do you feel that Arum will really stick with his word?
CC- One should ask Arum if he really means it, I would love to fight both of those guys. I know that I can beat both of them. They must go through me first before they even think of facing one another.
After Yordan, if they served you Lopez and Gamboa on a platter, which one would you rather have first and why?
CC- I would love to have Lopez first. Lopez because he has a big mouth. He calls himself the best but when they mention my name he quickly then turns deaf. Even his people know that I would crush him which is why Arum would rather want me to face Gamboa, I guess Arum feels that Gamboa has a better chance against me than Lopez does. Like I mentioned, I would love to fight them both, but if I could have only one, it would be Lopez.
