Top Rank Promotions’ CEO, Bob Arum, calls seven-division, champion and WBO welterweight (147 pounds) champ, Manny Pacquiao (50-3-2, 38 KOs) of the Philippines “The best that I’ve ever seen.”
Arum promotes several Filipino fighters, with Pacquiao (pictured at right) preparing to defend his WBO belt against Joshua Clottey (35-3 20 KOs) of Ghana on March 13. Watch as Arum, standing outside of the Wildcard Boxing Club where Pacquiao is training, lampoons reported comments by the uncle of Floyd Mayweather father, Roger Mayweather, concerning why Pacquiao, and other boxers from the Philippines are so good at what they do. It’s hilarious.
