COMEBACKING Mexican gladiator Marco Antonio Barrera ?punched his way back into the big-fight landscape? after his 10th-round stoppage of Paulie Ayala in Carson, California, Dan Rafael wrote in the widely-read broadsheet USA Today.
But it doesn?t mean Barrera?s next fight is going to be an eagerly-awaited rematch with Filipino tormentor, Manny Pacquiao, who beat him up so bad almost everybody in his camp thought that was his last fight.
Reports from the US West Coast revealed that Pacquiao is only one of several other fighters being eyed as the next foe for Barrera, who gave his career a big boost following that awe-inspiring win over the durable Ayala before a crowd of nearly 6,000 at the Home Depot Center.
