ATLAS CHARITY ENTICEMENT: If Teddy Atlas consents to a 15 minute radio throwdown, then I will donate $200 to his charity and the same amount to Catholic Charities of New York earmaked for aid to earthquake ravaged Haiti.
SEE TEDDY ATLAS GIVES MANNY PACQUIAO BROADCAST NEEDLE.
This just into our random testing studios:
Anonymous sources with fake names have told a man who told a man who told a man who told a man who told a man who told a man who I do not know the identity or location of….
That this man spoke to a man who whispered into the ear of a man who told a man who told a man who told a man that he saw ESPN boxing commentator Theodore “Teddy” Atlas’ most recent expense report as turned into the bean counters at the cable network’s headquarters in Bristol, Ct.. That man told all those other folks that he saw this line item…
RESEARCH ON PACQUIAO-MAYWEATHER DRUG TEST CONTROVERSY: Fifty cents, cash paid, to Bobo’s Bodega, Staten Island, for one copy of the December 23 edition of New York Daily News carrying Tiny Tim Smith’s identical report about a unnamed source who alleged that he or she saw or knew about a Team Pacquiao email sent to Team Mayweather asking what would happen if Manny failed a drug test.
Oh, yeah, Atlas also asked for reimbursement for a phone call to Boca Raton, Fl., a 30 second communication with his former ring pupil and ex-heavyweight champ Michael Moorer. Atlas lost interest in that convo when “disgruntled former Pacman employee” Moorer turned out to be, one, not disgruntled and, two, told Strong Man Atlas explicitly that he never saw Manny using dirty drugs and knew zero about such intake of banned substances by the Pinoy Idol.
New Flash #2–A Paclander named Felix Mabait was crafty enough to make up this PPV poster for a mixed Mayweather match in he will fight popular New Mexico female boxer Holly Holm. Told of this development, which is a bonanza Holm handler Lenny Fresquez never dreamed of, Atlas is now reprotedly calling for gender testing on both Holm and Mayweather.
Random testicle testing is what Theo calls it.
OK, putting aside the funny business, I now throw down the gauntlet.
I am challenging Atlas to a debate about the Pacman-Money May controversy on Sunday night’s BoxingTruth Radio Show, capably hosted by Ricardo Lois and John Chavez and produced by Texan and fight nut T Money.
As the suddenly self proclaimed guy who “cares” for the common fight fan, how could Atlas reject such an invitation to confrontation? BT Radio is the most real and blue collar boxing talk show extant and I’m sure Atlas wants to speak to “his people.”
We can have two minute opening statements and then the gloves are off!
You bring it, Teddy, can you take it?
I promise to be on my best behavior and not to call you a low life. I may call you “High Life” as a tribute to the late bon vivant and golf star “Champagne Tony” Lema.
I might even do my rendition of Don Ho’s “Tiny Bubbles” to close the show.
I’m down like a low life, baby, are you?
