MANNY PACQUIAO may now be among the biggest stars in the world boxing scene, but don?t tell that to Scott Harrison. The reigning World Boxing Organization (WBO) featherweight king obviously isn?t too impressed with Pacquiao, telling the newspaper The Scotsman that he could easily dispatch the Filipino as well as another Korean belt holder if given the chance.
“To tell you honestly, I don?t think it?s a strong division now,” the Scottish pug told the newspaper in its June 14 edition. “Pacquiao and (Injin) Chi? I could beat them both.”
Harrison is set to defend his lowly regarded 126-lb throne against top-rated American challenger William Abelyan this weekend at the Braehead Arena in Glasgow, but his dream is to unify the world featherweight titles and “step up a weight and do the same there.”
