AS MEXICAN Juan Manuel Marquez continues to dilly-dally, the camp of Manny Pacquiao wants the winner of this weekend’s crucial bout between Marco Antonio Barrera and Paulie Ayala to face the Filipino southpaw in September.
Pacquiao’s business manager Rod Nazario has told US promoter Murad Muhammad to start talks with the handlers of the victor of the Barrera-Ayala match scheduled on Saturday night (Sunday morning in Manila) at the Home Depot Center in Carson, California.
“I told Murad to begin talks immediately for a September fight,” said Nazario, who is also seriously considering another Mexican, Oscar Larios, the reigning World Boxing Council super-bantamweight titlist.
