STRAIGHT FROM San Francisco, where the International Boxing Federation (IBF) is holding its 21st annual convention, commissioner Emmanuel Palabrica of the Games and Amusements Board (GAB) yesterday reported that the IBF presented a plaque to Manny Pacquiao for his excellent participation in three title fights when he still reigns as the ruling body?s super-bantamweight champion.
The plaque was handed over to Lenny de Jesus, the New York-based Puerto Rican cutman of Pacquiao.
Palabrica likewise said he and GAB chairman Eduardo Villanueva also received a plaque for their participation in the five-day affair being held at the Argent Hotel in downtown San Francisco.
