Manny Pacquiao never made qualms about feeling the itch that is called the Juan Manuel Marquez rematch.
Now Marquez is feeling the same itch, too.
In his first public statement that answered Pacquiao?s challenge, the reigning World Boxing Association and International Boxing Federation (IBF) champion from Mexico announced Thursday that he is ready to get back into the ring with Pacquiao.
?Marquez is ready, we?re ready — we?re waiting for the first available date HBO [Home Box Office] can give us,? Bob Arum, head man of Top Rank Promotions, told fightnews.com.
Pacquiao, who felt ?that he was short-changed? in his attempt to wrest the dual featherweight belts from Marquez at the MGM Grand earlier this month, has consistently expressed his desire to meet Marquez again in the ring and ?settle once and for all, who the better fighter is? after the much-ballyhooed May 8 title fight in Las Vegas.
