World Boxing Council founding secretary general Rudy Salud, who was instrumental in having WBC president Jose Sulaiman, his long-time friend, rate Manny Pacquiao no. 3 some months ago, is confident he can get the WBC chief to approve a planned title fight with reigning champion Injin Chi later this year.
Salud told Viva Sports/Manila Standard that there are good prospects of staging the title fight in Manila especially if there is ?a good sponsor to back it up.?
