WHO SAYS World featherweight champion Juan Manuel Marquez is not man enough to give Manny Pacquiao an immediate rematch?
Definitely not, so says Marquez? promoter Bob Arum who yesterday declared his ward?s willingness to once again rumble with the Filipino boxing hero in a sequel to their epic championship match last May 9 which ended in a disputed draw.
“Marquez is ready, we?re ready ? we?re waiting for the first available date HBO can give us,” said Arum.
Arum?s latest declaration marks a big turnaround to previous statements coming from the reigning World Boxing Association and International Boxing Federation champ who earlier appeared cold to the idea of giving Pacquiao another shot at his twin crowns.
