DRAWS normally happen only in chess. That’s because a draw in chess matters much: It gives both protagonists half a point each. In chess, only a defeat warrants a zero to the loser, with the winner earning a big one point.
Thus, virtually in all other sports, there’s no such thing as a draw.
In tennis, a tied match is broken by a tiebreak.
In golf, a tie is broken by a sudden-death playoff.
