LAS VEGAS-Just before he boarded a plane bound for home, Philippine boxing superstar Manny Pacquiao vowed to make a bigger and better account of himself soon and borrowed Douglas McArthur’s line for the meantime, saying, “I shall return.”
Still bitter about unfair officiating which included fight judges and the referee, Pacquiao claimed opponent Juan Manuel Marquez was just lucky when he was able to salvage a split draw Saturday at the MGM Grand Arena here.
“Sa susunod na laban, hindi ganun ang mangyayari,” said Pacquiao, who knocked down Marquez thrice in the first round. Pacquiao said he is still aching for a rematch anytime, anywhere.
