LAS VEGAS ? Manny Pacquiao walked out of the elevator en route to his suite at the MGM Grand early Sunday morning looking like he had just fought off the challenge of a big-bodied troublemaker along the famed Strip. His right eye was almost swollen-shut and he moved with a slight limp simply because Pacquiao committed a mistake that proved very costly during his 12-round rumble with Mexican Juan Manuel Marquez on Saturday night before an MGM Grand Garden Arena crowd of 7,127.
Pacquiao revealed during the post-fight press conference that he had blisters all over his feet because he wore a thin pair of socks instead of the ones which he usually used during fights.
Adding fuel to the fire was that Pacquiao began to feel pain on his pet left hand in the second round, just moments after he had Marquez down on the deck three times.
