By the time you read this, Manny Pacquiao?s march to destiny may have gone on high gear or may have taken a dive. I?m just hoping that when it?s all over, Pacquiao?s hands will be raised by referee Joe Cortez while the IBF and WBA featherweight championship belts of Juan Manuel Marquez will be turned over to the Pac Man. It?s the only sight that we?d like to see today on TV.
But am I certain that this is going to happen? I?m confident about it and so are the millions of Pacquiao fans. I just hope the confidence jinx won?t hit us twice. When Pacquiao fought Marco Antonio Barrera, very few gave him a chance of winning. The odds were stacked against Pacquiao and all bets were on a Barrera win.
