One time suitor of Manny Pacquiao, Edwin Valero looks to heading towards a February 6, 2010 fight date with young Mexican warrior Antonio De Marco.
During Showtime’s telecast of Timothy Bradley vs. Lamont Peterson, out of the ring interviewer Jim Gray interviewed De Marco regarding the fight – which is assumed to be carried by the network – regarding the fight which is likely to take place in Mexico.
With all of the excitement that had been directed towards the career of Valero, and the hot stove discussions of fantasy fights with Pacquiao now faded with the Filipino’s rise to super stardom, a fight with De Marco might be exciting and bring back some luster to Valero’s career.
