After a rather ?peaceful? final press conference yesterday at the North Concourse at the left wing of the MGM Grand Hotel and Casino, consensus featherweight king Manny Pacquiao and WBA/IBF champ Juan Manuel Marquez take to the scales today at the 740-seat Hollywood Theater for the official weigh-in and rules breefing.
Both Pacquiao and Marquez are expected to breeze through the 126 lbs weight limit as both were already a pound below starting the other day.
?I have not underestimated Juan Manuel Marquez because he is the champion and is a good boxer,? Pacquiao, who came wearing a red-and-white No Fear jacket, declared at yesterday?s press conference. ?I trained hard for this fight because I know he can box and has good power. The fight Saturday will be a good fight and I am going to give him a good fight,? Pacquiao added as quoted by Fightnews.
