Three-time world champion Erik “El Terrible” Morales sees the upcoming world title fight between fellow Mexican Juan Manuel Marquez and Manny Pacquiao as a very even fight.
“I think it is a very tough fight for both guys with no clear cut favorite. I think the outcome of the fight will be decided by conditioning and who had the better training camp,” said Morales, the WBC super featherweight champion.
Marquez will defending his IBF and WBA featherweight titles against two-time world champion Manny Pacquiao of the Phillipines on Saturday at the MGM Grand Garden in Las Vegas.
“But as a Mexican I’m hopeful that Juan Manuel Marquez will win this fight. We as Mexican should always support each other,” said Morales.
