The glowing reports coming out of ?Trainer of the Year? Freddie Roach?s Wild Card Gym near Hollywood on the sparring sessions of Ring Magazine featherweight champion Manny Pacquiao haven?t impressed business manager Rod Nazario, who was reportedly dissatisfied and upset over the Filipino southpaw?s sparring on Monday.
Boxing analyst Moy Lainez told Manila Standard that Nazario had called him Tuesday to discuss details of Philippine bantamweight champion Joel Bauya?s planned World Boxing Council International title fight in South Africa later this month.
During the conversation, Lainez told him that Monday was ?not a good sparring day? for Pacquiao in contrast with last Saturday, when he decked welterweight Javier Garcia with what was described as ?a phantom left? that shocked him.
