MANNY PACQUIAO doesn?t usually call his business manager long distance, and it came as a surprise yesterday morning when the boxing star gave Rod Nazario a ring.
“I thought it was something serious,” said Nazario some 12 hours before boarding the Philippine Airlines jet bound for Los Angeles.
It turned out that Pacquiao was only in need of two grocery items: a bottle of Head&Shoulders shampoo and several racks of his favorite energy drink Red Bull.
“He told me the Red Bull that is being sold in the States tastes bland. Wala daw lasa kaya?t nagbilin na magdala ulit ako. Mas sanay daw siya sa lasa ng mga (Red Bull) na binebenta dito sa Pilipinas,” Nazario said.
