Ever since Ring Magazine featherweight champion Manny Pacquiao broke the ribs of rugged Armenian bantamweight Karen Harutyunan, his sparring partners are demanding more money to get into the ring during Pacquiao?s workouts at Freddie Roach?s Wild Card Gym in Los Angeles, according to the Filipino?s business manager Rod Nazario.
In an interview with Manila Standard at his spanking, new Wild Card Gym in BF Homes, Paranaque, Nazario said Pacquiao had called him up to ask for additional money to pay his sparring partners. Nazario revealed he also sent Pacquiao money ?to pay for the hospital bills of Harutyunan after Pacquiao broke his ribs on the first day of sparring.?
