To most men, the act of getting bitch slapped is more humiliating than getting punched in the face. According to a source of mine (one that I choose to keep anonymous) Canadian adviser Michael Koncz was not punched in the face, rather he was open handed jack slapped across his face by Alex Ariza. There sure seems to be a very consistent pattern here lately with Mr Koncz and being the recipient of bad blood.
It’s been no secret that Pacquiao trainer Freddie Roach and Michael Koncz do not like each other very much. Now it appears that the dislike for Koncz is growing, or at least it’s surfacing more so the rest of the boxing world can see it more clearly. So what is it with this man from Canada that continuously seems to have it in for the surround team members? There must be some sort of motive, no? Of course there is.
The bigger question is, why does Manny Pacquiao keep this guy around? When things deteriorate to the point where punches are being thrown, or in this case slaps are being delivered, you would think it is time to make a change. It seems that every time that Michael Koncz makes a decision, someone is ready to whoop his ass, and in this case someone did.
Something has to give here sooner or later. Time will only tell who will come out with their hands raised after this situation resolves itself. Will it be Roach? Will it be Ariza? or will it be Koncz?
