AMERICAN PROMOTER Murad Muhammad and an HBO crew are arriving in Manila on Wednesday to film the training of Manny Pacquiao, who is slated to meet Mexican Juan Manuel ?Dinamita? Marquez on May 8 in Las Vegas. ?I received a call Tuesday night and was told that HBO and Murad are coming over for a brief visit,? Rod Nazario, Pacquiao?s business manager told The Bulletin yesterday. ?This goes to show how important Manny is as far as HBO is concerned.?
HBO and the New Jersey-based Muhammad, who has been Pacquiao?s promoter since mid-2001, would only stay in the country for two days and are scheduled to fly back to Los Angeles with Pacquiao in tow on March 19. HBO is also filming Pacquiao?s first few training sessions at Freddie Roach?s Wild Card Boxing Club in Hollywood, California, according to Nazario.
