With the most important aspect of his eagerly awaited return to the ring settled, Manny Pacquiao is now in a hurry to leave for the US and get in shape for his first fight since stopping former world featherweight great Marco Antonio Barrera of Mexico last November.
Pacquiao wants to leave on March 19, but his business manager, Rod Nazario, knowing that Manny needs to get back into serious training fast, wants him to fly to Los Angeles to be with trainer Freddie Roach either tomorrow (March 12) or on March 15.
Pacquiao, now the reigning consensus featherweight king, will tangle with reigning World Boxing Association (WBA)/International Boxing Federation (IBF) champion Marquez at a soon-to-be-announced venue in the United States, some two weeks earlier than the original schedule.
