DESPITE his willingness to fight Mexican Eric Morales, Manny Pacquiao may have to give way to countryman Randy “Kom-ong Bato” Suico first.
This is because Suico, if he hurdles South African Mzonke Fana in May, automatically becomes the challenger to the World Boxing Council junior lightweight title that will be disputed this Sunday between champion Jesus Chavez and Morales at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas.
The possibility of Pacquiao also meeting Morales emerged after the Filipino signed a multi-million-dollar deal with cable giant HBO starting with a May 22 bout in the US most probably against World Boxing Association and International Boxing Federation champ Juan Manuel Marquez.
