The shooting of a movie has forced Manny Pacquiao and his business manager Rod Nazario to postpone their departure for the US to finalize details of the People?s Featherweight Champion?s next title defense tentatively scheduled for late May or early June.
Nazario told Manila Standard that he had received a call from his son Roberto who handles his business affairs in the US informing him that promoter Murad Muhammad wanted him and Pacquiao to leave for New York on February 6 but that he had asked his son to tell Murad they could only leave on February 22.
Nazario said Pacquiao would need time to finish shooting the movie and also wanted to be in town for the birthday of his son on February 6, forcing him to move their departure date by some two weeks.
