Call me nuts, but in today’s economy, $150,000 is no chunk of chump change, but then against I am not welterweight boxer Zab Judah.
Sources inform me that Mr. Judah passed on a $150,000 payday to fight Antonio Diaz on the undercard of Floyd Mayweather vs. Juan Manuel Marquez. To make matters more interesting, Judah does not have any solid fight date lined up to fall back on.
I guess $150,000 is a drop in Super’s bucket.
Is Zab still a force in the welterweight division? I am not sure.
Could he whip Juan Diaz and Andre Berto, as Zab has been preaching on Ustream and Twitter? I would like to find out.
Zab popped onto The Boxing Truth Radio this Sunday to discuss Diaz, Berto, his future, and debate a few testy fans. Listen to what went down on the video below.
