Promoter Murad Muhammad has vowed to make former International Boxing Federation champion Manny Pacquiao a superstar.
In an e-mail to Manila Standard, Murad said: ?People need to know that I only want the best for Pacquiao and I will continue to work hard in making sure he becomes the superstar that his abilities and personality call for.?
Murad made the statement in an e-mail to this reporter and Keith Terceira of the Web site BoxingScene.com in which he requested that his message be accepted ?as a thank you gesture.?
The American promoter also stated that he is ?very grateful that responsible journalists like you have taken the time and initiative to print the facts rather than the rumors and innuendos? regarding his relationship with Pacquiao.
