AMERICAN Freddie Roach yesterday said he will not keep his job as chief trainer of Manny Pacquiao unless the Filipino world featherweight king could come up with a clear explanation why he flipped-flopped on his earlier stance to kick US promoter Murad Muhammad out of Team Pacquiao.
?Until Manny (Pacquiao) comes to America and meets with me, and we talk things over, I am not his trainer,? clarified Roach, owner of the famed Wildcard Gym in Hollywood, in an interview with Boxingtalk.com?s Gregory Leon.
Roach fairly admitted that he initiated the legal means, through his lawyer Nick Khan, to oust Muhammad from Team Pacquiao because it was Pacquiao himself who turned for help to him to make such a move.
