The threat of a long, drawn out infighting within the camp of uncrowned world super bantamweight champion Manny Pacquiao has become imminent after American promoter Murad Muhammad yesterday unflinchingly labeled trainer Freddie Roach a ?backstabber?.
In an interview published by boxing website Boxingtalk, Muhammad accused Roach of concocting stories aimed at tarnishing his integrity.
Muhammad also vowed to get rid of the astute trainer in Pacquiao?s career.
?I will not sleep until Freddie Roach is out of business when it comes to Manny Pacquiao or any other fighter that I work with. He?s a backstabber!? declared Muhammad ?He?s a cunning individual and I will come after him.?
