Promoter Murad Muhammad is coming out to clear his name after numerous and constant attempts made by trainer Freddy Roach to damage not only his reputation, but also his relationship with IBF Jr. Featherweight champion Manny Pacquiao. What is more troubling to the New Jersey-based promoter is the fact that, for the public, it?s easier to believe another man?s accusations against him rather than to form an opinion based on the reputation that he has carefully crafted over many years in boxing. Even worse is the fact that these accusations have no validity whatsoever.
For the past few days, reporters have finally been calling Murad Muhammad to get his side of the story, and it is only until recently that more accurate reports have began to surface. An article by writer Ronnie Nathanielz on Jan. 4 (see attached article), stated that Keith Davidson, a lawyer representing Freddie Roach, faxed Manny Pacquiao a draft of a contract for an ?exclusive promotional agreement with Ten Count Productions, Inc., a Nevada-based corporation based in Beverly Hills, CA.
