Floyd Mayweather Jr’s upcoming appearance for WWE RAW has drawn praise and criticism from fans of boxing and pro-wrestling. Many speculations have been made as to why Floyd agreed to make this appearance. Regardless of his reasons, we are assured of one thing, the WWE will come out the big winners in this collaboration. Adding an athlete the caliber of Mayweather Jr. is another feather in WWE’s cap. The WWE has already received lengthy and vast media coverage for their past celebrity guest hosts of Monday Night RAW; and Floyd’s appearance will bring even more attention.
But there’s one thing that Floyd has over other celebrity guest hosts, Floyd has already performed in a WWE ring on the grandest of stages when he took on the Big Show at WrestleMania 24.
In fact, Floyd’s past feud with the Big Show is the biggest reason WWE fans will tune in to watch. Over the last several weeks, Big Show and his tag-team partner Chris Jericho have been confrontational with many of the guest hosts. So, you can expect a massive confrontation with Mayweather which should generate a buzz.

Ok readers, let’s get back on track. Another key reason that the WWE comes out the big winner in all of this is that they don’t have to pay Floyd as much money as the last time he appeared in the WWE. Because, in my opinion, Floyd needs this exposure more than the WWE. It’s Floyd’s fight that’s in trouble with the box office. So, Vince gets a ton of exposure at a bargain price.. I can see that evil McMahon grin from here..
