Well it didn?t take long for Manny ?PacMan? Pacquiao to begin making plans to take the “official” featherweight titles. Boxingscene has confirmed reports that the WBC and Sulaiman have decided that the winner of the Brodie versus Chi bout sometime in March will face the PacMan.
James Blears, Boxingscene staff member in Mexico was at the WBC office today to get the news first hand. Sulaiman was not available for comment due to commitments in Canada but office staff did admit the fight was mandated.
Pacquiao is the IBF super bantamweight champion but holds no other world titles even though he destroyed Antonio Barrera. Barrera was considered the best 126lb fighter in the world but held no official title.
