MANNY Pacquiao?s wish to have his next defense of the Interna?tional Boxing Federation super bantamweight title be held in Manila may come true after all.
Receiving offers to stage the title fight from promoter Bebot Elorde and the Solar cable sports channel, Pacquiao?s business manager Rod Nazario on Friday admitted to having second thoughts following initial talks to hold his ward?s fight outside the country.
Nazario added that prospects for a Manila venue are good, but said he has yet to study the Elorde-Solar offer in depth.
?Manny had asked several times if it is possible that his next fight be held here. He just want to give his adoring country another chance to see him fight,? the manager explained.
